In Dreams
Donna Martin · 2021
I'm walking up the mountains,
Going down the hills.
Looking for the forest,
So I can get my thrills.
My thrills are pretty simple,
As "they" all gather around.
"They" are all the animals,
And the people are in town.
I'd rather be with the animals,
They don't judge me in any way.
The animals don't hurt me,
They just want to play.
So now the day is over,
And I wake up from my dream.
Life is so unforgiving,
It's never how it should seem.
