This is not an emergency service
We are a small team and cannot respond immediately. If a child is in danger, call 911. To report suspected abuse, call the Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline on 1-800-422-4453 — free, confidential, 24 hours a day. More ways to report →

Everything here goes to a real person. We don’t add you to any list.
Before you write — common questions
Most messages we get are one of these. The answer may save you a wait.
Can I use your books, comics and coloring pages in my school or group?
Yes, and you don’t need to ask. Everything is free for personal, family, classroom and non-commercial community use. Print as many copies as you need. The only things you may not do are sell it, remove our name, or change its safety guidance — see the terms of use.
I have a story I’d like to submit. Is this the right form?
Stories have their own form so a reviewer sees them straight away: Share Your Story. Please read the short guidance at the top first — no real children, teaching not frightening, and it is never the child’s fault.
I’m worried about a specific child. Can you help?
We are an education charity, not an investigative or emergency service, and we cannot intervene in an individual case. If a child is in danger call 911. To report suspected abuse, call the Childhelp hotline on 1-800-422-4453 — you do not need to be certain. Our reporting page has the full list.
How do I donate?
See what your gift pays for — the giving panel there works out what an amount buys and takes you to the right place.
How long until I hear back?
Usually within a few working days. We are a small team and every message is read by a person, so there is no auto-reply and no ticket number — just an answer.
